See you there!!
We're looking for people to write about bands, shows, etc. Get in touch with us.
Fucking awesome show. Embrace the Kill was great as well and played a very powerful set. But man, Verbal Abuse sounded way better than they did at the Hazmat a few weeks ago. Don’t know how much of that should be chalked up to the sound guy/equipment.
Usually when a band comes on and plays a long set, I start to get tired. Hopeful that every song is their last, I am repeatedly denied my precious dream of being able to go home. (I hate leaving early…)
Fortunately, this wasn’t the case with MDC.
Looks like I was wrong! The secret headliner at Burnt Ramen tomorrow night (Friday March 27) is not MDC. In fact, it’s Toxic Holocaust hailing from Portland, OR.

Saything (myspace), The Renderers, RVIVR, Gruk (myspace), Yankee Kamikaze. 924 Gilman. 8pm.
Fucking weird show, man. Whatever, there are better options Friday. Like Voetsek. Or BOATS! / Re-Volts. Which is where I’ll be found, btw.
Have fun if you go… post a comment and tell me how it was!
Rumor has it there’s gonna be a mystery headliner at Burnt Ramen this coming Friday, Mar 29. It will be announced Thursday, so it’s not like we’ll be going to the show without knowing — but still, wonder who it’s gonna be?
My first hunch was that it would be MDC. Except they’re scheduled to play in LA. Hmmm, maybe the show got cancelled?
Scotty from Tankcrimes says, “hint: it’s not Carcass”. This leads me to believe that it IS indeed MDC, because Thursday two pretty good shows are going down:
Carcass, Death Angel and some other bands are playing the Regency Grand Ballroom (doors open at 6:30pm if you’re interested).
ALSO….
MDC and Verbal Abuse are playing Thee Parkside (doors @8:00pm, $10.. GO!!!)
So it’s either MDC or Verbal Abuse, right…?
Who do you think it’ll be? Post a comment!
(I’m an idiot - for some reason I thought the BORN/DEAD show was on Thursday, Mar 24th. It’s actually on Saturday, Mar 28th.)
At any rate, on with the show(s):
